Felony Offenses
Felonies are the most serious offenses under Virginia law. Every felony charge carries with it the possibility of a lengthy jail sentence. Felony conviction also results in employment problems, and loss of certain rights. These rights include the right to own a firearm, serve on a jury, and the right to vote.
If you are charged with a felony, it is important to talk to a lawyer about your case as soon as possible. As former Assistant Public Defenders, we have each handled numerous felony cases, from preliminary hearing all the way through trial. We also understand that what our clients often want is not to have a felony conviction on their record, and they want an attorney who can negotiate a plea agreement to a less serious misdemeanor charge. If, however, you feel you have been unjustly accused of a crime, we have the experience necessary to prepare an aggressive defense.
Call or e-mail us to talk about your case. We will sit down with you and discuss your case for free.
